The Asian Association for EMS (AAEMS) medical director workshop is an innovative hybrid event designed to enhance the skills and knowledge of EMS professionals. This two-part workshop combines comprehensive online video lectures with an engaging on-site workshop. The online component covers crucial topics such as international standard EMS operations, developing effective EMS protocols, and identifying pitfalls in online medical direction, with a special emphasis on the telemedicine system. The on-site workshop provides a hands-on experience, featuring case-based discussions that delve into current issues faced in the medical direction of EMS. This approach ensures that participants gain both theoretical knowledge and practical insights essential for advancing emergency medical services in their respective regions.
